Mary Louise Langwith, 74, of Heather
Cove, South Bend, died Monday, Jan. 5, in her residence. She was
born on Dec. 22, 1923, in Elkhart.
On Sept. 6, 1947, in South Bend, as Mary Lou
Gill, she married Robert A. Langwith. Robert survives with
three daughters, Nancy Lee Langwith of Indianapolis and Jeri-Lynn
Langwith and Lou-Ann Spore, both of South Bend. Also
surviving are seven grandchildren and her sister, Annette Raynor
of South Bend. Mary-Lou was a member of the Christ Child Society,
Tri-Kappa, Service Guild, Delta Delta Delta Sorority and Christ
the King Catholic Church. She graduated from DePauw University in
1945 with a B.S. in Chemistry. At the LaSalle Wholesale Liquor
Corporation, she served in management and was a director.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9,
in Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 U.S. 33 North, South
Bend. Entombment will follow in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may
call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435
S. Ironwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St.
Joseph County or The Christ Child Society.
