George Landman (March 23, 1922-June 21, 1994)

SOUTH BEND - Services for George Landman, 72, of Edgewood Drive, who died at 3:48 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Mr. Landman retired in 1987 from Inland Distributors. He was born March 23, 1922, in Decatur, Mich., and lived in South Bend since 1924, coming from Decatur. On June 19, 1947, in South Bend, he married Theresa ''Pat'' Aitken. She died Aug. 9, 1989. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Papoi of Copley, Ohio; three grandchildren; a sister, Sadie Spelda of Chicago Heights, Ill.; and a brother, William of South Bend. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Teamsters Union.
