SOUTH BEND - Services for Ruth G. Landesman, 84, of Southland Drive, who died at 5 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Landesman was department manager for Wilson Bros. and a food server at various places, including Mark's Restaurant and Morris Park Country Club. She was born Sept. 23, 1910, in Shreveport, La.

On Jan. 12, 1935, in South Bend, as Ruth G. Billstein, she married Ralph E. Landesman. He died March 14, 1988. Surviving are two sons, James and Frederick, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Edna Glisti and Erma Miller, both of Shreveport. A son, Ralph Jr., preceded her in death.
