Frederick M. Lamb

February 22, 1927 – February 10, 1988

Frederick M. Lamb, 60, of 52610 Walsingham Lane, died at 6:15am today in St Joseph’s Medical Center after an illness.  Mr. Lamb was a chief engineer and worked in sales for 10 years at Huckins Tool 7 Die.

He was born February 22, 1927, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On April 23, 1949, in South Bend, he married Barbara J. Gilmartin, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughter, Karen L. Cline of South Bend and Sally J. Tochell of Michigan City; a son, Craig A., of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; and a brother, Douglas J. of Niles.

Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Thursday at Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30pm.  Mr. Lamb was a member of Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks 235, American Turners and Christ the King Catholic Church.  He was a veteran of WW II.  Memorial contributions may be made to St Joseph County Cancer Society.
