SOUTH BEND - Services for Patricia Laffin, 69, of Brick Road, who died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Regency Place, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.

Mrs. Laffin was employed by the former Sobenite Plastic Co. for 33 years. She was born March 30, 1924, in Hartford and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On July 27, 1944, in South Bend, as Patricia Close, she married John H. Laffin. He died in 1971. She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Saxton and Eleanor Springman, both of South Bend, and Gilda Reagan of Slidell, La.; and two brothers, Clayton Close of South Bend and Paul Close of Osceola.
