SOUTH BEND - Marcia J. Lacy, 63, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, at Hospice House in South Bend, Indiana. Marcia was born on September 15, 1944, in South Bend, Indiana, to Clem and Alice (Szymanski) Martinczak. She retired in 2006 after 32 years of service with Raco, Inc.

On May 24, 1969, Marcia married Jerry Lacy, who survives. Surviving with her husband Jerry are her daughter, Angela (Robert) Kinas of South Bend; her son, Todd (Nicole) Lacy of Naperville, Illinois; her mother, Alice Martinczak of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Sara, Jeremy and Shelby Kinas, Harrison, Jack and Coleman Lacy; her sister, Eileen (Mark) Koth of Columbia, South Carolina; and her brother-in-law, John Ullery of South Bend. Her father, Clem Martinczak, and a sister, Susie Ullery, preceded her in death. Marcia was a member of St. Mary National Catholic Church in South Bend where she served on the board of directors and was a founding member and past treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 284, South Bend.

Visitation for Marcia will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 6, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where a parish Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, in St. Mary National Catholic Church, 1601 W. Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 601 West Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545; or to St. Mary National Catholic Church, 159 N. Summit Drive, South Bend, IN 46619.
