MISHAWAKA - Camiel A. LaCluyse, 101,
of Jensen Beach, died October 13, 2008, at Treasure Coast Hospice
Hay-Madeira House, Stuart, Florida.
Born in Mishawaka, Indiana, he had been a
resident of Jensen Beach for over 40 years, coming from
Mishawaka. Before retiring he had been a fabricator for Ball-Band
Rubber and Wool in Mishawaka for over 40 years. He was a member
of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, and St. Martin de Porres
Council of the Knights of Columbus, both in Jensen Beach, and was
a 75-year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors
include daughters, Dolores LaCluyse of Stuart and Dorothy Tobolski
of Mishawaka; a son, Donald LaCluyse, and his wife, Alice (Szabo)
of Macy, Indiana; 14 grandchildren and numerous
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61
years, Rachel LaCluyse, in 1992.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM,
with a service at 11:00 AM on October 17, 2008, in Forest Hills
Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest
Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
