OSCEOLA - Paul Labuda, 86, of 56978 Cedar Road, died at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday in his home after an illness. Mr. Labuda retired in 1976 from L.E. Johnson, Elkhart, after eight years of services as a woodworker and was employed by Studebaker Corp. for 28 years. He was born May 15, 1908, in Wabash, Ind., and lived in Osceola most of his life.

On Oct. 16, 1938, in Elkhart, he married Norah G. Mills. She survives with a son, Timothy J. of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Pauline Faye of San Jose, Calif.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Elmer of Champaign, Ill.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
