March 5, 1919 – January 24, 1980

Edwin S. Kuzmicz, 60, of 1414 N. Meade, died at 6:50pm Thursday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was employed by the South Bend Community School Corp., as a custodian.

He was born on March 5, 1919, in South Bend, and had lived here all his life. On November 8, 1941, in South Bend, he married Irene Wrobel. She survives, along with two sons, Michael A. of Lisle IL, and Kenneth J. of South Bend; two granddaughters, and four brothers, Raymond of San Francisco CA and Aloysius, Frank and Norman, all of South Bend.

Services will be at 11am Saturday in St John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rev Joseph A. Jacobs, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call form 4 to 9pm today in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7pm. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Z.B.Falcons, Nest 80.
