Arvo A. Kuusisto

July 21, 1919 – November 11, 1982

Arvo A. Kuusisto, 63, of 726 S. Gladstone Ave., died at 3:45 am today in his home after an apparent heart attack. He was retired from Erecto.

He was born on July 21, 1919, in Sugar Island MI and lived in South Bend for the past four years, coming from Detroit.  On December 31, 1954, in Warren MI, he married Eleanor Bianchi, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Jedrzejewski of South Bend and Mrs. Laura DePoy of Eau Claire MI; two sons, Andres of South Bend and Ronald of Inlay MI; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Hokkanem of Sugar Island.

Services will be conducted at 11am Saturday at St Joseph Funeral Home, with Rev. Thomas F. Elliott, CSC, associate pastor of St Stanislaus Catholic Church, officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Friday at St Joseph Funeral  home.
