Sister Mary Zigmunda CSC, died at St. Mary’s Convent Friday afternoon following an extended illness. She was born Emily Margaret Kunzelmann in Sulzdorf, Bavaria in 1883, and she came to the United Statesin 1903 to enter the Sisters of the Holy Cross. She received the habit in 1904 and made her profession of vows in 1906. She was assigned to Holy Cross Convent at Notre Dame in 1905, and was on duty at the University until the closure of the convent in 1958.

The requiem mass will be at 4 p.m. today in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at 11 a.m. Sunday. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
