Theodore Kukla (Jan. 31, 1921-Jan. 6, 1994)

HAMLET - Theodore Kukla, 72, of 318 Railroad St., died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, after an illness. Mr. Kukla was a retired machinist from Screw Machine Products, LaPorte. He was born Jan. 31, 1921, in LaPorte. On July 15, 1950, in South Bend, he married Geneva Hickman. She died March 4, 1988. Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Risner of North Judson, Mary Ann Kukla of Knox and Kathy Stacy of Hamlet; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; two sisters, Caroline Gniadek of LaPorte and Helen Varro of Eagle River, Wis.; and two brothers, Marion and Chester, both of LaPorte.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rannells Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of services Sunday in the funeral home.
