SOUTH BEND - Stanley C. Kuchowicz, 78, of South Lombardy Drive, died at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Kuchowicz retired from Allied Stamping.

He was born Nov. 28, 1916, in South Bend. On Oct. 12, 1940, in South Bend, he married Chesterine Podemski. She survives with two sons, Robert of Hillsdale, Mich., and Richard of Elizabethtown, Ky.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Kuchowicz of South Bend and Irene Swistek of Michigan City. He was a veteran of World War II and member of Harvest House.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
