SOUTH BEND - Regina M. Kubiak, 92,
passed away on July 18, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. in her daughter's
residence. Regina was born September 3, 1915, in Chicago, IL, to
the late Peter and Stella (Szulc) Cudowski. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kubiak; a daughter,
Joan R. Kubiak; two brothers, Eugene and Irvin Cudowski; and by
her two sisters, Florence Kowalewski and Stella Sniadecki.
She is survived by her two children, Kathleen Chlebowski
and Charles Kubiak; six grandchildren, Rhonda (Larry) Shirley
of Granger, Debbie (Bob) Stowell, Daniel Chlebowski of New
Carlisle, Pam (Mark) Staveley of New Carlisle, Judy Kubiak
and Mark Kubiak; eight great-grandchildren, Alexis, Randy,
Mackenzie, Alyssa, Ian, Sarah, Lauren and Emma; four sisters,
Helene (Robert) Wilcox of North Ridge, CA, Louise and
Richard (Dawn) Reiner of Granger, Mary Lou (Henry) Chrobot
of Three Rivers and Lorraine Rozewicz of Portland, OR.
Regina was a member of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Catholic
Church. She enjoyed reading, and liked watching Notre Dame
women's basketball, the Chicago Cubs and ballroom dancing.

Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
Tuesday, July 22, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower
Road, South Bend, where a funeral liturgy will follow at 11 a.m.
in the funeral home.
