Joseph F. Kubiak

July 13, 1911 – April 8 1993

Joseph F. Kubiak, 81, of Oak Grove Drive, Valparaiso, formerly of North Olive Street, died at 12:15am today in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, after an illness.  Mr. Kubiak was a retired self-employed pharmacist.

He was born July 13, 1911, in South Bend and lived in South Bend until moving to Valparaiso six years ago.  In 1945 in South Bend, he married Helen M. Korpal.  She died March 25, 1982.  He is survived by a daughter, Linda Bovy of Valparaiso; two grandchildren; a sister, Harriett Nowicki of South Bend; and two brothers, Hank and Fritz, both of South Bend.  He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Services for Joseph F. Kubiak, 81, of Oak Grove Drive, Valparaiso, formerly of North Olive Street, who died at 12:15am Thursday in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, after an illness, will be at 11am Monday in Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9pm Saturday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.  He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 357, the church and a veteran of WW II.
