SOUTH BEND - Joan R. Kubiak, 52, of Birdsell Street, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in her home of natural causes. Miss Kubiak was born March 19, 1943, in South Bend. She is survived by her mother, Regina Kubiak of South Bend; a sister, Kathleen Chlebowski of Mishawaka; and a brother, Charles of South Bend; and six nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Corvilla.
