Theodore E. Kruszka, Sr., 82, of South Bend, passed away at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2006, in his residence. Theodore was born on November 23, 1923, in South Bend, to Stanley and Helen (Korpal) Kruszka. His parents and a brother, Edmund, have preceded him in death.

Theodore is survived by his wife, Marjorie of South Bend; sons, Theodore Jr. and Steven, both of South Bend; daughters, Victoria Kruszka of Lakeville, Marybeth Zeltner of Fort Wayne and Patricia Kruszka of South Bend; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and sisters, Reodine Harding and Dolores Devereau, both of South Bend. Theodore worked at Air Products and Chemicals for 25 years before retiring. He belonged to St. Casimir Catholic Church, St. Casimir Seniors Club, E.A.A. (Experimental Aircraft Association) and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 20, 2006, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. MAYFLOWER ROAD, SOUTH BEND, where a Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimir Catholic Church.
