SOUTH BEND - Josephine Krupnik, 69,
of Sunset Place, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in Regency Place. Mrs.
Krupnik was director of nurses for the former South Bend Osteopathic
Hospital and was a former nursing instructor at Ivy Tech State
College.
She was born May 10, 1926, in Chicago
and lived in South Bend for 45 years. On Oct. 14, 1950, as
Josephine Speziale, she married Casimir Krupnik. He died June 23,
1987. She is survived by two daughters, Paula F. Santa of
Indianapolis and Barb R. Goldman of Fort Collins, Colo.; a son,
Stephen A. of South Bend; seven grandchildren; a sister, Grace Corbo
of Chicago; and a brother, Sam Speziale of Sun City, Ariz. She
was a member of Indiana University Alumni and Holy Family
Catholic Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral
Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Memorial
contributions may be made to the church.
