Mrs. George (Antonetta) Kropff

June 8, 1906 – November 9, 1983

Services for Mrs. Antonetta T. Kropff, 77, of 405 E. Oakside, who died at 7am Wednesday in her home after a lengthy illness, will be at 10am Saturday in St Matthew Cathedral, of which she was a member.  Most Rev. Joseph R. Crowley, rector, will officiate.  Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, where a parish rosary will be recited at 4pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Child Society, of which she was a member.

Born on June 8, 1906, in Chicago, she lived in the South Bend area for 70 years, coming from Chicago.  On May 27, 1933, in South Bend, she married George Lewis Kropff Sr.  He survives with a son, G. Lewis Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls OH; two grandchildren; and a brother, George H. Krueger of North Liberty.
