Robert P. Kronewitter

SOUTH BEND - Robert P. Kronewitter, 78, of Southeast Drive, died at 12:01 a.m. Saturday in his home of natural causes. Mr. Kronewitter was a retired chef. He was born Jan. 10, 1916, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident. On April 4, 1941, in South Bend, he married Margaret Heintzelman. She survives with a daughter, Sherry Little of North Little Rock, Ark.; a son, Ronald R. of South Bend; two grandsons; three sisters, Illah Gillen and Catherine Terry, both of Mishawaka, and Moetta Goodling of Bremen; and three brothers, Frank of Crystal Lake, Ill., Charles R. of Woodstock, Ga., and Michael O. of South Bend. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1167 and was a veteran of World War II.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
