Irene Kronewitter

MISHAWAKA - Irene Kronewitter, 94, of Greencroft Center, Goshen, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 9:32 a.m. Sunday in the nursing center. Miss Kronewitter retired in 1969 from New York Central Railroad after 50 years of service. She was born June 17, 1901, in Mishawaka. She is survived by two nieces, Cecilia Kramer of Goshen and Ann Willing of Elgin, Ill. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
