Agnes I. Kronewitter, 88, of Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Tuesday, at 7:10 p.m., in the nursing home.
She was a salesperson, who worked at both Wyman's and Robertson's Department Stores.
She was born on June 13, 1908, in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident.
In South Bend, as Agnes I. Wartha, she married Otto F. Kronewitter, who preceded her in death in 1976.
She is survived by three daughters, Arlene Myers, Catherine Bruce and Loretta Kronewitter, all of South Bend; three sons, James of Effingham, Ill., Paul of Rolling Prairie, Ind. and Richard of Mishawaka; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
One son, one daughter and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, in St. Matthew Cathedral, and burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery at Notre Dame. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m., Friday, in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Kronewitter was a volunteer for REAL Services.
