MISHAWAKA – Maude Mae Kristl, 97, of Lincoln Way West, died at 8am Monday in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, after an illness. Mrs. Kristl retired in 1964 from Robertson’s Department Store, South Bend.

She was born July 20, 1896, in Roann IN, and lived in Mishawaka most of her life. On June 20, 1916, in South Bend, as Maude M. Enyert, she married Francis J. “Frank” Kristl. He died in 1966.

She is survived by a son, Frank R. of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Colleen Pauwels of Bloomington IN, Timothy Kristl of Kansas City MO, and Dr. Kevin Kristl of Granger; and six great grandchildren. She was a member of St Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend.

Services will be at 11am Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call form 6 to8pm Wednesday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, where a parish rosary will be said at 7pm.
