WALKERTON - Uriah ''Bud'' Kring, 86, of Miller's Merry Manor, died at 2:23 a.m. today in the nursing home. Mr. Kring retired from Plymouth Homes, Plymouth, and also had been a bartender. He was born Nov. 11, 1907, in Kosciusko County.
On June 6, 1957, in New Mexico, he married Iva Amor. She survives with two daughters, Karen Johnson of Grovertown and Kathy Wyland of Walkerton; a stepdaughter, Janet Louderback of Walkerton; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse's Association of St. Joseph County or St. John Lutheran Church of North Liberty.
