SOUTH BEND - Karl Krienke, 88, of 4318 Norton Drive died Sunday afternoon in Michiniana Community Hospital. He retired in 1957 from the US Postal Service after 36 years. He was born Nov. 12, 1902 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On July 29, 1930, he married Ruth Humme in Alberton Ga.. She survives with a daughterJoan Kunde of South Bend; two sons, Arvid N. of Osceola, and Merwyn H. of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Krienke of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Christian Center Cathedral of Praise. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call fron 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home.
