Mary Jane Kretchmer, 55, of Folkstone Court, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 6:24 a.m., Saturday, at St. Joseph Community Hospital, after an Illness. Mrs. Kretchmer was born in South Bend, Ind. on March 6, 1941. She lived in the Michiana area all of her life,
She is survived by her father, Robert H. Thompson Sr.; ex-husband, Jay Arlen Kretchmer, Sr. of Mishawaka; three sons, Jay Arlen (Jay Boy) Kretchmer Jr., Joseph Allen Kretchmer and Jerry Andrew Kretchmer, all of Mishawaka; a daughter-in-law, Michelle I. Kretchmer of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn Kretchmer and Justin Allen Kretchmer, both of Mishawaka; and a sister, Bobbie June Cummins of Kewanna, Ind. Mrs. Kretchmer was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Thompson and two sisters, June Kay and Betty.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, with visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Williams, with the burial taking place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Kretchmer was a member of the 1st Church of God, Mishawaka.
