Mrs. Katherine Kraus

Mrs. Katherine Kraus, 75 years old, died Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of her son, Rudolph Kraus, 660 Laporte Avenue, after a two months illness with heart disease. She was born in Arsberg, Germany, Feb 8 1846 and came to this city from Germany 33 years ago. Surviving are four sons, Christ, and Rudolph both of the city, Geroge, of Chicago, and John of Osceola, one daughter, Mrs. J H Wilson, of Osceola, one sister, Mrs. William Haney, if this city, and one sister in germany. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2o'clock at the residence of Rudolph Kraus, and at 2:30 o'clock at Zion Evangelical Church Rev W Goffeney officiating. Burial will be in the city cemtery.
