SOUTH BEND - Helen E. Krauser, 84, passed away Tuesday,
March 8, 2007, in Hospice House. Helen was born on January 17,
1923, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Soltesz)
Fodor.
On March 4, 1946, she married Robert Krausser in South Bend. He passed away on December 11, 2005. Also preceding her in death were her two brothers, William and Joseph. She is survived by her two children, Pam (Carlos) Vargas of Kempton, PA, and John E. (Patricia) Krauser of Vestavia Hills, AL; two step-grandchildren, Amy and Carlos Vargas; and by her sister, Margaret Shafer of South Bend. Helen worked for Studebaker from 1944 to 1952, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 12, 2007, from 9 to 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend.
