Kenneth E. Krause of East Ninth Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Thursday, July 15, in his residence. He was born on Aug. 5, 1948, in South Bend, Ind., to William Charles Krause Jr. and Phyllis (Kinyon) Krause. His father, William, preceded him in death in 1981.

Kenneth is survived by his mother, Phyllis Krause of New Carlisle; his daughter, Vikki Kozlowski of Eugene, Ore.; two sons, Scott (Rebecca) Krause of Conyers, Ga., and Todd (Natalie) Krause of Barrington, N.J.; his sister, Janice (Terry) Dale of South Bend; and by seven grandchildren. Also surviving is a stepson, Christopher Carrico of South Bend.

Kenneth was a self employed contract carpenter in the Michiana area. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a fan of NASCAR racing. In 1966 he graduated from Central High School in South Bend. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he was honorably discharged. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 20, at 11 a.m. in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, with Rev. Ed Erskin officiating. Friends will be received in the funeral home one-hour prior to the service time. Cremation will take place.
