Harry O. Kramer
Harry O. Kramer, 901 W. LaSalle Ave. died in
his residence at 8:10 a.m. today after a month illness. He
was born in Easton, Pa. May 27, 1870 and came here 57 years ago
from Aurora, Ill. He married Florence Adkins in 1892 in
Aurora, who survives. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs.
Martin Seuss, South Bend, three grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
He was employed by the Northern Indiana
Public Service Co. 24 years, and by the city water department one
and one half years. He was a Republican precinct
committeeman for the Seventh Precinct many years. He was a
member of South Bend Lodge 294, F. & A. M., and of South Bend
Aerie 435, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Friends may call in Orvis Funeral Home from
7 p.m. today until the funeral there at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rev.
Walter D. Oberholtzer, of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will
officiate. Burial will be in Bowman Cemetery, with Masonic
rites at the grave.
