SOUTH BEND - Services for 72, of South Warren Street, who died about 7:20 a.m. Monday in her home, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will be said at 4 p.m. by the parish, Golden Cluster, Ladies Civic Club, and Holy Cross Brothers Auxiliary.
Mrs. retired from Uniroyal Plastics Co., Mishawaka. She was born Sept. 3, 1921, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On Feb. 1, 1947, in South Bend, as Mary M. she married Benedict Kowalski. He survives, with a sister, Lottie of South Bend; and a brother, Stanley ''Boots'' Dworecki of South Bend. She was a member of Golden Cluster and Ladies Civic Club, both of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Holy Cross Brothers Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center.
