SOUTH BEND - Agnes Kowalski, 99, of Transitional Health Care Center, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday in Michiana Community Hospital. Mrs. Kowalski was an employee of the former Wilson Brothers. She was born April 4, 1895, in Pennsylvania, and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On May 28, 1919, in South Bend, as Agnes Polcyn, she married Fred Kowalski. He died Oct. 17, 1975. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Polish National Alliance Lodge 83.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m.
