Mrs. Shandor Kovacs. Mrs. Shandor Kovacs, aged about 55, of Scranton, Pa., a former resident here, died in her home Wednesday morning after three weeks illness. Her mother, Mrs. Joseph Fearkes, of this city, and a sister, Mrs. John Gyurgyik, also of South Bend, are in Scranton. Surviving also are her husband, a son, Shandor, jr., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Bires, of Flushing, Long Island; a grandchild; another sister, Mrs. John Wishing, of South Bend, and four brothers, Joseph Fearkes, assistant fire chief here, and John, David and Michael Fearkes, all of South Bend.
