John F. Kotal

John F. Kotal, 64, of 1419 W. Indiana Ave., died at 4 a.m. today.

He was retired having been employed at the Studebaker Corp. for 24 years.

Mr. Kotal was born on Jan. 11, 1901 in South Bend, and had resided here all of his life.

On May 24, 1928 he married Julia Karsas, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs Evelyn Sakara, of South Bend; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Charles Doyle of Fraser, Mich., and Mrs. John Dumas of Fort Worth, Tex.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Nemeth Funeral Home.

Mr. Kotal was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and the DFV German Club.

Services for John F. Kotal, 1419 W. Indiana Ave., who died Tuesday will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Rev Martin Horvath, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
