Services for Sister M. Romula CSC, 59, of St. Mary’s Convent, died Monday evening in Deming, N. M., where she was visiting relatives, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Loretto with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, on the campus. Friends may call today and until services Tuseday in the convent where a wake will be at7:15 p.m. toiday.

Born on Feb. 9, 1915 in Needville, Tex. as Otillia Kosteinik, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on June 11, 1933. On Jan 6, 1934 she was received as a novice and mad her profession Jan. 6, 1936. A registered nurse, she served as supervisor of the department of obstetrics at St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend from 1944 to 1948, She also served in hospitals in Ohio and Illinois, and was on the nursing staff at St. Mary’s Convent.
