SOUTH BEND - Virginia Kosik, 69, of 515 E. Monroe St., died at 2:43 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Mrs. Kosik retired from Valley American Bank. She was born Dec. 15, 1924, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

As Virginia Andrysiak, she married Stanley Kosik. He died in 1989. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Harvest House of Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Cross Catholic Church, St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, and the Civic Club of St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. by the parish and Harvest House of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church.
