Joseph J. Kopetski

MISHAWAKA - Joseph J. Kopetski, 75, of Main Street, died at 5:45 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Kopetski was employed by Studebaker Corp. for 24 years and retired in 1981 from Torrington Co., South Bend. He was born Oct. 7, 1919, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Jan. 6, 1945, in South Bend, he married Ruth Hazinski. She survives with his mother, Irma Kopetski of Mishawaka; and two sisters, Bernice Simon and Lorraine Nagy, both of Sierra Vista, Ariz. He was a veteran of World War II.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation will take place with entombment in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Granger. There will be no visitation. Hahn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
