James S. Konopinski
October 3, 1925 - March 20, 1978
James Samuel
Konopinski, 52, of 55029 Currant Road, was dead on arrival at 1:15pm
Monday in St Joseph Hospital where he was taken after becoming
ill at his UniRoyal Inc., job.
Konopinski was
born on October 3, 1925, in South Bend, and had lived in this
area all his life. On June 30, 1944, in South Bend, he
married France Irene Petree, who survives with a daughter, Mrs.
Tom (Betty) Vautier, Mishawaka; a son, James S. Konopinski, Jr.,
with the US Air Force stationed in Texas; three grandchildren;
five brothers, Edward R of Bertrand, Louis F. of Dowagiac, Leo of
South Bend, Bert of Lakeville and Donald R. of Mishawaka, and
three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Muszynski and Mrs. Valcour Olivier,
South Bend and Mrs. Russell Kesner of Mishawaka.
Friends may call
in the Bubb Funeral Chapel from 7 to 9pm today and from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9pm Wednesday. Konopinski was employed by UniRoyal
for the last 30 years.

Funeral Notes
Services will be
at 11am Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel for James S.
Konopinski, 52, of 55029Currant, who was dead on arrival at 1:15pm
Monday in St Joseph Hospital, after a sudden illness. Rev
Theodore W. Snider, pastor of the Albright United Methodist Church,
is to officiate and burial is to be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today in the funeral home.
