Raymond J. Kolesiak
June 24, 1911 - Jan. 23, 1993
MISHAWAKA - Raymond J. Kolesiak, 81, of Jamestown Court South,
died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South
Bend, after an illness. Mr. Kolesiak was an employee of the
former Studebaker Corp. and was an employee of the former Wyman's
Department Store in the receiving department. He was
born June 24, 1911, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area
resident. In South Bend, he married Alfreda Szweda. She
died Jan. 12, 1969. On Oct. 6, 1973 in South Bend, he married
Mary Liszewski. She survives with four daughters, Patricia Smith,
of Lincoln, Ill., Diane Phillips of Missouri, Kathy Kern of
Dowingtown, Pa., and Lynn Mc Candless of Egg Harbor N. J.; two
sons, Wayne Liszewski and Paul Liszewski, both of South Bend;
eight grandchildren; and a sister, Honorata Rudynski of
Mishawaka. He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Matthew
Cathedral, South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St.
Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South
Bend. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, South Bend, where a
parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m.
