Sister Mary DeMetria CSC, 87, a
teacher in this community for many years, died in the infirmary
of St. Mary’s College at 2 p.m. Sunday after a long illness.
She was born in Germany April 23, 1961, as Margaret Kohler.
In South Bend she taught many years in St. Mary’s parochial
school.
The funeral mass will take place at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at St. May’s with burial in the community cemetery.
