Paul G. Kohler, 75, of Mishawaka,
Ind., died Monday morning, Jan. 6, at his residence. Mr. Kohler
was born May 19, 1921, in Mishawaka, and lived in the area all of
his life. He is survived by his sister, Frances Avanell Seward
of Mishawaka; two cousins, Jane Rhinehart of
Shippensburg, Pa., and Dorothy Trump of Christianne Lake,
Mich.
Mr. Kohler was a member of the Mishawaka
Masonic Lodge 130, the Osceola Masonic Lodge 83, the South Bend
York Rite. He was the Treasurer of the Antique Automobile Club of
America. He was also a member of the Pioneer Automobile
Association, The Model T Ford Club International and the Model A
Ford Club International. He was a veteran of World War II,
serving in the army.
Mr. Kohler was a chemical engineer. He was
chief chemist in charge of research for the Wheelabrator-Frye
Corporation for 20 years, and was chief metallurgist for American
Motors of Indiana, retiring in 1979.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 tol 8
p.m. Thursday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main
St., Mishawaka, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park,
Granger, Ind. A masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday
at the Bubb Funeral Chapel. The pallbearers for Mr. Kohler will
be representatives of the St. Joseph Valley Regional Antique Car
Club of America.
