SOUTH BEND - Joseph D. Koelndorfer, 68, of Silver Spring Drive, died at 2:15 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Koelndorfer was a retired tool and die maker. He was born Oct. 30, 1926, in South Bend.
On Dec. 26, 1950, in LaPorte, he married Marilyn J. Kaufman. She survives with four sons, Ronald E. and James M., both of South Bend, Richard D. of Mishawaka and Robert J. of Osceola; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Theo Much of Decatur; and a brother, Frederick of Mishawaka. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road.
