Eugene C. Koczwara

Dec. 3, 1916 - April 15, 1999

Eugene Casimer Koczwara, 82, of South Bend, Ind., formerly of Hammond, Ind., passed away on Thursday, April 15.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Mary (Pilch); seven children, Edward (Carol) Koczwara, James Koczwara, Victoria (Allan) Rodrigues, Margaret (John) Ullrick, Helen (John) Mathis, Frank (Peggy) Koczwara and Joseph (Connie) Koczwara; and by 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Koczwara was a South Bend, Ind., resident for 11 years, and was a retired employee of the Bishop Noll Institute (High School) in Hammond.

Funeral services will be at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, in the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Avenue, Hammond, Ind., with a 12 noon Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1445 Hoffman Street, Hammond, Reverend Matthew C. Iwuji officiating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Ill.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
