Ike K. Knutson

September 13, 1904 – May 18, 1962

Ike Kenneth Knutson, 53, of 52895 Miller Rd., Clay Twp., died suddenly of a heart attach at 5pm Friday in a service station at US 31 & Auten Rd, where he was buying gasoline.

He was born on September 13, 1904, in Iowa and moved to South Bend from Lafayette in 1950.  He married Henrietta J. Roseboom in South Bend in March 1953.  Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Anna Nelson, of Ellsworth IA; his father, Martin C. Knutson, of Clarion IA; two sons by a first marriage, Albert D. Knutson, of Kansas City KS and Kenneth E. Knutson, of New Carlisle; a sister, Mrs. Vallie Ahrens, of Ellsworth, and three half sisters, Mrs. Ardys Ridgeway and Mrs. Stella Vobel, of Des Moines IA and Mrs. Mary Duster of Massachusetts.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday in the Hollis Funeral Home, where friends may call after 12 noon Sunday.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
