Mary Ellen Knoblock

Mishawaka – Mrs. Mary Knoblock, 74, of 601 East Fourth Street, died at 1:35 a.m. today in her residence following an illness of one year. Death was do to a heart attack.

Mrs. Knoblock was born in Mishawaka June 7, 1874, and as Miss Mary  Ellen Weinkauf was married to Paul Knoblock, sr. in St. Joseph Catholic Church on Aug. 12, 1895. Mr Knoblock died several years ago.

Surviving are four sons, Rudolph, Adolph, Adam and Paul, jr., all of Mishawaka; and two daughters, Mrs. Lena Hedman and Mrs. Margaret Lowman, also of Mishawaka; one sister, Mrs. Kunigunda McGarrity, of Mishawaka; one brother, John Weinkauf, of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church with Rev. Curt Suelzer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call in the residence after noon Saturday and until the time of funeral.

Mrs. Knoblock was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Church. The rosary will be recited in the residence at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
