Nappanee – Hillis S. Knoblock, 77, of 302 Morningside, Nappanee, died 12:45 p.m. Saturday at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born March 11, 1906 in Bremen.

He was married to Emma Kuhn Feb. 16, 1935. She died Dec. 31, 1976.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Shirley A. Biltz, South Bend; one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. Dallas (Edith) Hepler, Bremen, Mrs. Mae Claffer, Ludington, Mich., and Miss Virginia Knoblock. Addison, Ill.

Friend may call for 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Thompson and Yoder Funeral Home where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. . The Rev. George B. Zoarno, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, of which Knoblock was a member, will officiate.

Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church.
