LAKEVILLE - Milton M. Knepp, 95,
residing on Mulberry Road, Lakeville, Ind., passed away at 6:10
p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, at his home of natural causes. Mr.
Knepp was self-employed in farming all of his life. He was born
on April 6, 1902, in Lakeville, and had been a lifelong area
resident.
On Dec. 2, 1920, in South Bend, he married
Anna M. VanHeck who preceded in death on Jan. 15, 1996.
They had been married for 75 years. Surviving are one daughter,
Maxine and Vance Archer of Lakeville; one son, Richard and
Joan Knepp of Bremen; three granddaughters; three
great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; and one sister,
Rozella Shirley of Lakeville. One daughter, Marjorie Jain
Knepp, preceded in death in 1938. One sister, Alice Platz,
preceded in death in 1985. One brother, Russell Knepp, preceded
in death in 1991. Milton was also preceded in death by his
parents, John and Harriet (Hammond) Knepp.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today,
Jan. 7, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St.,
Lakeville. Burial will follow in Fair Cemetery, North Liberty.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the Palmer
Funeral Home in Lakeville. Mr. Knepp was a member of the County
Line Brethren Church.
