SOUTH BEND - Helen G. Klysz, 93, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Friday, April, 16, 2010, in her home. Helen was born November 6, 1916, in South Bend, Indiana, to Frank and Mary (Zerzokowski) Palicki. She was employed with the South Bend Police Department as crossing guard at Holy Cross Catholic School for 20 years. On August 20, 1938, Helen married Bert Klysz Sr., who preceded her in death on December 3, 1974. Surviving are her children, Anita (Frank) Lebiedzinski of South Bend, Indiana, Tina (Klysz) Trenerry of South Bend, Indiana, Bert Klysz Jr. of South Bend, Indiana, Terrence (Beatrice) Klysz of Manhattan, New York; grandchildren, Deborah Lebiedzinski, Lori (Doug) Belardinella, Michael (Sherry) Lebiedzinski, Karen Lebiedzinski, Tim (Heidi) Trenerry, Stephanie (John) Bedient and Jessica (Andy) Williams; and great-grandchildren, Jennifer Belardinella, Lauren Belardinella, Dominic Belardinella, Lindsey Lebiedzinski, Sara Lebiedzinski, Chad Lebiedzinski, Mark Belardinella, Benjamin Bedient, Emerson Bedient, John Bedient, Joseph Trenerry, Jackson Trenerry, Mary Williams and Frederick Williams. Helen was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, the Harvest House and Grandmother's Club. She was also a member of the Civic Club, Golden Cluster, Holy Name Society and the Altar Rosary of St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
