Jo Ann Klug

Jo Ann Klug, 70, of North Oakland,
Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 4, in
St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka. Jo Ann was born to the
late Earl and Charlotte Kizer in Mishawaka on May 17,
1927. Jo Ann was a 1944 Mishawaka High School graduate. She
returned to this area five years ago, coming from Peoria, Ill.
On Sept. 8, 1945, in Waycross, Ga., as Jo
Ann Kizer, she married Robert L. Klug, who survives.
She is also survived by three daughters,
Carolyn Bennett of Germantown Hills, Ill., Candice Hill
of Nashville, Tenn., Mellissa Kula of Royse City, Texas; a
son, Robert E. Klug of Washington D.C.; seven grandchildren; two
sisters, Margaret Schalliol of Mishawaka and Nancy Kizer
of Seminole, Fla.; and by six brothers, Jack Kizer of Granger,
Ind., Richard Kizer, Jerry Kizer, Norman Kizer and Lanny Kizer,
all of Mishawaka, and James Kizer of Portage, Ind. Jo Ann was
preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Bendit and Betty Morris;
and by a brother, Robert L. Kizer.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. on Thursday
until service time at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Bubb Funeral
Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Dale
Speckman officiating. Burial will take place in the Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osceola, Ind.
