SOUTH BEND - Katarina Klotz, 83, of
South Scott Street, died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in her home. Mrs.
Klotz retired in 1976 from St. Joseph's Medical Center after 25
years of service. She was born Nov. 24, 1911, in Jamarica,
Yugoslavia, and lived in South Bend since 1949.
On Feb. 4, 1934, in Yugoslavia, she married
Adam Klotz. He has been missing in action since World War II. She
is survived by a daughter, Anna Czajkowski of South Bend;
four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A daughter,
Mary, and a son, Adam, preceded her in death. She was a member of
Sacred Heart and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic
Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the
church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call
from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a parish
rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be
made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
